What each superfood seed contributes:

Chia Seeds (Quail variant)

Rich in Omega-3 fatty acids (ALA), soluble fibre for gut health, calcium, and magnesium. A small amount goes a long way - 8% inclusion is an effective dose without overloading fat content.

Pumpkin Seeds (Rabbit variant)

Natural source of Omega-6, Zinc, and Magnesium. Traditionally used to support digestive health and urinary tract function. Also contains cucurbitacin - a compound studied for natural deworming properties (not a replacement for veterinary deworming protocol).

Flax Seeds (Turkey variant)

One of the best plant-based sources of Omega-3 (ALA). Supports skin health, coat shine, and joint lubrication -particularly useful for dogs on home-cooked meals where fat profiles can vary.

How to use Dog Training Bites for training:

• Break treats into smaller pieces for high-frequency reward training — each 90g bag gives you plenty of repetitions.
• Use as a high-value reward for new commands, loose-leash walking, recall training, or socialisation exercises.
• Alternate between the three flavours across sessions to maintain novelty and keep your dog engaged.

How much to Feed Dog Training Bites:

• Treats should not exceed 10% of your dog's total daily calorie intake.
• At ~300 kcal per 100g, a 10g serving = ~30 kcal. Adjust your dog's main meal accordingly on heavy training days.
• For dogs on home-cooked diets: these treats complement a balanced home-cooked meal — they are not a complete food.

Serving Recommendations by Size of your Dog:

• Small breeds (under 10kg): 5-6 treats per session
• Medium breeds (10–25kg): 9-10 treats per session
• Large breeds (25kg+): 14-15 treats per session

How to Store Dog Training Treats by Dog Fest:

Store in a cool, dry place, ideally the refrigerator. Reseal the pack after use. Once opened, use within 3–4 weeks.
