Safety First, 3-Strap Design for 'No Escape'

The extra abdomen strap protects against your dog backing out and escaping the harness. This is particularly helpful for dogs that are anxious/nervous by nature, extreme pullers or have learnt to escape from their harnesses over time.

Additionally, the harness is fitted with 3M reflective strips on all the belts for high visibility during late night walks.

The vest-shape and three strap design helps distribute pressure evenly across your dog's chest and torso. The harness is made from Oxford fabric with neoprene padding that ensures your dog is comfortable and the harness doesn't chafe against their skin/coat.

Best Harness for Reactive Dogs

The harness has two Aluminum-Alloy D-rings.

• D-ring on the top of harness for dogs who are trained to walk without pulling and one at the bottom for strong pullers.
• Using D-ring on the bottom will turn your dog around when they lunge or react to external triggers, helping with your training process.
• You can also use both clips together, to reduce the force with which your dog pulls and to give you more control during walks.

The Harness is also fitted with a Safety Handle at the back. You can pull it to keep your dog close in high distraction environments, traffic etc.

• Size M - For dogs with Chest size between 56-69 cm or 22-27 inches.
  Recommended Dog Breeds - Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso, Beagles, Indian Spitz, Pomeranian, Cocker Spaniels

• Size L - For dogs with Chest size between 69-81 cm or 27-32 inches.
  Recommended Dog Breeds - Indian Spitz, Beagles, Cocker Spaniels and Indies.

• Size XL - For dogs with Chest size between 81-107 cm or 32-36 inches.
  Recommended Dog Breeds - Indies, German Shepherd, Husky, Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, Mudhol, Rajapalyam and Chippiparai.

How to measure your dog for the right Harness size?

1. Ensure your dog is standing on a level surface. Measuring while they are sitting or lying down will result in an inaccurate and often smaller measurement.
2. Use a soft measuring tape to wrap around the widest part of your dog's chest, typically right behind the front legs or on your dog's rib cage.
3. Apply the Two-Finger Rule: The tape should be snug but not tight. Leave enough space to slide two fingers between the tape and your dog's body to ensure the harness won't be too restrictive.
4. Choose the Harness Size which is closest to your dog's chest measurement: E.g. if your dog's chest size is 30 inches (75 cm), choose L size which is ideal for dogs with chest size between 28 to 32 inches

Please note

1. Please measure your dog with a measuring tape to ensure you are selecting the right Harness size for your dog.
   
2. The recommended dog breeds section for each harness size is only a suggestion. There is a lot of variation in breed sizes in India so please double check by measuring your dog.

How to put this Escape Proof Harness on your dog

1. Loosen straps of the harness before putting it on your dog for the first time.
2. Place the bottom half of the harness under your dogs chest, such that it is centered and flat.
3. Take the top half and pull it over your dog's head. Do this only if your dog is comfortable with harnesses being pulled over their head.
4. If they are sensitive to this action, you can remove the dual buckle next to the neck loop of the harness, put the top half of the harness in its position and then insert the aluminium buckle for a snug fit.
5. Once the neck loop of the harness is in place, you can check for the tightness of the harness. Make sure you leave two fingers gap between the harness and your dog's skin for the safest and most comfortable fit.
6. Now attach the second loop using the plastic buckle.
7. Finally, attach the abdomen strap (third strap) around your dog, using the aluminium dual buckle.
8. Make sure the abdomen strap is secured in place properly - this is the most critical loop of the no escape dog harness.
9. Do a quick fit check before stepping out: your dog should be able to walk, sit, and turn comfortably.

How to measure your dog for the right Harness size?

1. Hand-wash in mild soap; air-dry out of direct sun.
2. The harness is machine washable too, but be careful of the Alumnium rings damaging your washing machine.
3. You can also dry clean the harness.
4. Brush loose hair before fitting to reduce matting.
5. Check stitching, D-rings, and buckle regularly; replace if any of these are worn out.
