Front Clip Harness for Dogs

The Truelove No Pull Dog Harness comes with two leash attachment points - one on the back (usual leash attachment point) and one in the front (near the chest/belly area). You can use either leash attachment or both together, depending on how your dog behaves during walks.

Designed to make Leash Training Easy

The harness has two Aluminum-Alloy D-rings for leash attachment. One in the front and one in the back

• If your dog is a heavy puller or reactive - clip the leash to the front.
  Any sudden jump or lunge by your dog, will result in them getting turned around - making it easy for you to turn and walk away from the trigger.
  
• If your dog is a calm walker - clip the leash to back.
  Dogs that have been trained to walk calmly can be easily handled when the leash is attached to the back.
  
• If your dog is an extreme puller - clip a dual leash to both front and back.
  Offers maximum control during walks.
  

The Harness is also fitted with a Safety Handle at the back. You can pull it to keep your dog close in high distraction environments, traffic etc.

Each part of the No-Pull Dog Harness by Truelove is made from extremely durable material, including -

• Harness made from 160D Cordura Fabric - makes it extremely durable, yet lightweight. Cordura Fabric are designed for military-grade purposes and are resistant to tear and abrasions.
  
• Plastic buckles made from Duraflex- Made from high-grade acetal plastic, these buckles are lightweight and extremely resistant to wear and tear.
  
• Leash Attachments made of Aluminium Alloy - Making them lightweight, durable, resistant to rust and resistant to scratches and abrasions.
  
• Neck buckle made from Aviation Grade alloys- The special buckle design makes it easy to attach but difficult to remove. Aviation grade alloys are lightweight and extremely durable.
  

Comfortable for dogs

The vest-shape and two strap design helps distribute pressure evenly across your dog's chest and torso. The harness also contains soft sponge and SBR (Styrene-Butadiene Rubber) cushioned padding that ensures your dog is comfortable and the harness doesn't chafe against their skin/coat.

• Size XS - For dogs with Chest size between 33-43 cm or 13-17 inches.
  Recommended Dog Breeds - Toy Poodle, Pomeranian, Dachshund. Maltese. Shih Tzu. Lhasa Apso and some Pugs.

• Size S - For dogs with Chest size between 43-56 cm or 17-22 inches.
  Recommended Dog Breeds - Pugs, Beagle, Cocker Spaniel and some Indies and Indian Spitz.

• Size M - For dogs with Chest size between 56-69 cm or 22-27 inches.
  Recommended Dog Breeds - Indies, Indian Spitz, Chippiparai and some Rajapalyam. Mudhol and Huskies.

• Size L - For dogs with Chest size between 69-81 cm or 27-32 inches.
  Recommended Dog Breeds - Mudhol. Husky. German Shepherd and some Golden Retrievers and Labrador Retrievers.

• Size XL - For dogs with Chest size between 82-107 cm or 32-41 inches.
  Recommended Dog Breeds - Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Dobermann and some Rottweiler and Great Dane.

How to measure your dog for the right Harness size?

1. Ensure your dog is standing on a level surface. Measuring while they are sitting or lying down will result in an inaccurate and often smaller measurement.
2. Use a soft measuring tape to wrap around the widest part of your dog's chest, typically right behind the front legs or on your dog's rib cage.
3. Apply the Two-Finger Rule: The tape should be snug but not tight. Leave enough space to slide two fingers between the tape and your dog's body to ensure the harness won't be too restrictive.
4. Choose the Harness Size which is closest to your dog's chest measurement: E.g. if your dog's chest size is 30 inches (75 cm), choose L size which is ideal for dogs with chest size between 28 to 32 inches

Please note

1. Please measure your dog with a measuring tape to ensure you are selecting the right Harness size for your dog.
   
2. The recommended dog breeds section for each harness size is only a suggestion. There is a lot of variation in breed sizes in India so please double check by measuring your dog.

How to put this Escape Proof Harness on your dog

1. Loosen straps of the harness before putting it on your dog for the first time.
2. Place the bottom half of the harness under your dogs chest, such that it is centered and flat.
3. Take the top half and pull it over your dog's head. Do this only if your dog is comfortable with harnesses being pulled over their head.
4. If they are sensitive to this action, you can remove the dual buckle next to the neck loop of the harness, put the top half of the harness in its position and then insert the aluminium buckle for a snug fit.
5. Once the neck loop of the harness is in place, you can check for the tightness of the harness. Make sure you leave two fingers gap between the harness and your dog's skin for the safest and most comfortable fit.
6. Now attach the second loop using the plastic buckle.
7. Finally, attach the abdomen strap (third strap) around your dog, using the aluminium dual buckle.
8. Make sure the abdomen strap is secured in place properly - this is the most critical loop of the no escape dog harness.
9. Do a quick fit check before stepping out: your dog should be able to walk, sit, and turn comfortably.

How to measure your dog for the right Harness size?

1. Hand-wash in mild soap; air-dry out of direct sun.
2. The harness is machine washable too, but be careful of the Alumnium rings damaging your washing machine.
3. You can also dry clean the harness.
4. Brush loose hair before fitting to reduce matting.
5. Check stitching, D-rings, and buckle regularly; replace if any of these are worn out.
