Product Specifications
Key benefits of Rabbit Ears with Chicken
🍗 Chicken breast and rabbit ear
51% chicken breast and 40% rabbit ear. A protein most dogs already know, in a chew that takes some working through.
💪 39% protein, 5.6% fat
Almost two-fifths of every chew is protein, and it's leaner than our lamb version (9% fat). A meat-first reward, not a biscuit.
🌾 Grain-free, nothing artificial
No grains or gluten, no added salt or sugar, and no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. The flavour comes from the meat.
🦴 Soft, but a proper chew
Soft enough to bite through, but it still takes some chewing, so your dog slows down instead of gulping. Handy on days when walks get cut short.
🧪 3rd party lab tested
A 3rd party lab found no detectable lead, mercury, cadmium or arsenic, and no Salmonella, in the tested sample. Full results below.
Ingredients of Rabbit Ears with Chicken
Chicken 51%, rabbit ear 40%, potato starch 5%, vegetable protein 1%, glycerin 3%.
Full transparency: every ingredient is named with its exact share, and together they add up to 100%. No catch-all terms like "by-products" or "minerals".
91% is chicken breast and unbleached rabbit ear. It is not a single-ingredient chew: the other 9% holds it together and keeps it soft. Potato starch (5%) is a grain-free binder.
Vegetable glycerin (3%)
- What it is: a clear, slightly sweet liquid made from palm oil. It keeps the chew soft and helps prevent mould.
- Is it OK for dogs? Yes. Food-grade glycerin is widely used in dog treats and is considered safe.
- Who should avoid it: diabetic dogs, unless your vet agrees.
Vegetable protein (1%)
- What it is: protein from plants, used in a small amount to help hold the chew together.
- Is it OK for dogs? Yes. Plant proteins are common in dog food and safe for most dogs.
- Who should avoid it: dogs with a known allergy to soy or other plant proteins.
No grains, no added salt or sugar, and no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Each pack contains 85 g of chews.

How to use the product
🦴 How to give it to your dog
- 🍖 Give it as a treat or a chew session, not as a meal.
- 👀 Let your dog chew in a calm spot and stay nearby. Take away small leftover pieces, or any piece that turns sharp.
- 💧 Keep fresh water within reach.
🐾 Giving it for the first time?
Start with half a piece for the first two days and watch for any tummy upset. If all is well, move to the daily amount below.
⚖️ Daily feeding guide
As recommended by Jolly Pawps.
1–10 kg: ½ to 1 piece
10–20 kg: 1 to 2 pieces
20–30 kg: 2 to 3 pieces
Above 30 kg: 3 to 4 pieces
Keep all treats under 10% of your dog's daily food. If your dog eats 200 g of food a day, that is less than 20 g of treats.
🐶 For puppies
Only for puppies 6 months and older. Jolly Pawps recommends waiting until then, while young teeth are still developing.
